FL Cosmetology (10hrs) CE Course for License Renewal 2026-2027

This 10-hour continuing education course is designed for Florida Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, Facial Specialists, and Full Specialists renewing their license or registration. The course covers required topics including HIV/AIDS, sanitation and sterilization, OSHA, workers’ compensation, Florida laws and rules, chemical makeup, environmental issues, and the benefits of massage. Successful completion fulfills the 10-hour continuing education requirement for Florida license renewal.

Meets Mandatory Subject Requirements

1. HIV/AIDS (2 hrs./2 CE’s)
2. Sanitation vs. Sterilization (3 hrs./3 CE’s)

Attendance & Course Credit

ATTENDANCE – As the student, you can read the material at your own pace.  Once the material is completed, you must submit your answers to the test.  
COURSE CREDIT – In order to receive credit for this course, you must submit the answers to the 25-question test and attain a passing score of 70% or higher. Course credit will be submitted electronically to the Florida DBPR within 24-48 hours of completion.
